About this mod Machine translation

This is a standalone plugin for NordWarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacers SSE.

I made this mod for my personal use because I like the armor and weapons in NordWarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacers SSE, but I also wanted to keep the vanilla armor. I can't wait for the standalone version of JDJ3 (/.\) because I want to start my games now with those fantastic armors.

I'm sharing this on Contact because I thought some people might want it too. I don't know if this violates any rules or regulations on this post, if it does please let me know and I will remove it.

I changed the item's name and stats to suit my taste. I've only finished the crafting and tempering recipes for these items, if I learn some easy way I'll try to add the tier list. Definitely plan to add these gear to NPCs soon, but for now I'm just making the "crafting only" version.

Please download and install the original mod NordWarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacers SSE first before installing this addon.

It should be CCOR compatible, but is not required. I use its stats and recipes as a base.

Wolf Armor->Pioneer's Armor

This is my favorite of all. Great, it reminds me of the awesome Faram armor I've always loved.

Armor rating increased to between Nordic carved armor and ebony armor.

After becoming a pioneer, you can craft it on Skyforge. Needs senior Smith to cheer up.

You can also craft various armors and helmets. I made changes to the female version of the variant armor to use a male mesh so that it wouldn't fall apart but look weird on the female character.

Steel Plate Armor->Rusty Steel Plate Armor

Changed the name because it does look rusty.

The armor rating is slightly downgraded because it's very rusty.

Made the same as steel plate armor.

Ebony Armor and Weapons->Ebony Knight Armor and Weapons

Statistics and crafting are the same.

Nordic carved armor and weapons->Nordic steel carved armor and weapons

Statistics and crafting are the same.

Dwarven Armor and Weapons -> Dwarven Guardian Armor and Weapons

Statistics and crafting are the same.

Scale Armor>Layered Armor

No need for handmade pelts now.

Ancient Nord Armor->Ancient Nord Warrior Armor

Made some changes so that women and orcs can wear helmets normally without going bald.

Barbarian Armor->Adventurer Armor

This is the Dragonborn's signature armor, so I changed the name to be more friendly to my tastes. Calling it Dovahkiin or Dragonborn armor breaks the immersion for me, so no.

If I remember correctly, armor class is roughly the same as scale armor.

Crafting requires the Advance Smithing perk.

Iron, leather, staple, leather, and fur armor/weapons all have the prefix "Northern" because I think the armor looks like what people would wear in the northern regions.

That’s all. I'm planning on giving the armor and weapons of special NPCs like Kodlak to another addon along with the Harbinger Armor. Eventually I'll add these to the level list, by which time the module will be complete.

Not sure if I'm missing anything, but if I find anything I'll fix it.

Thanks~

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
