Are you a Thalmor looking to weaken Talos? Well, this mod is for you.
This mod renames all Talos shrines in Skyrim to Shrines of the Useless, also renaming the amulets. The effects you would normally gain from activating the Shrine of Talos have been removed, and instead, you gain nothing.
These are the changes you're most likely to see over the course of an average playthrough, except I've also renamed dead Talos cultists to "Worshipers of the Useless Man", changed the splash screen that mentions talos, more with the support of thalmors, the temple in Talos Windhelm has been renamed the Temple of the Useless Man, and I've renamed the Talos Bug Book to the Useless Man Bug.
Only SkyrimSE is required. Should also be compatible with SkyrimVR.

Are you a Thalmor looking to underpower Talos? Well then, this mod is for you.
This mod renames all of the Talos shrines in Skyrim to shrine of useless man, it also renames the amulets similarly. The effects that you would normally get by activating a Talos shrine have been deleted, instead, you will get nothing, seriously.
Those are the changes that you are going to most likely see on an average playthrough, other than that I have also renamed the dead Talos worshippers to Worshipper of Useless man, changed the splash screen that mentions talos, more in the thalmors favour, the Talos temple in Windhelm has been renamed to Temple of useless man, and I have renamed the book the Talos mistake to the Useless man mistake.
Requires SkyrimSE only. Should be compatible with SkyrimVR also.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
