Favorites list updated since 2018
This is an updated version of the Category Favorites Menu Oni version, which is (obviously) an updated version of the Category Favorites Menu. Since Oni Edition has not been permanently updated, I took it upon myself to give you a more compatible version of the category collection menu. I modified the Oni version with the latest update to add relics of Hyrule and Apocalypse-Magic of the skyrim, I also added the abilities introduced by SPERG.
I don't claim any rights to the mod's content, you can thanks to Oni Edition's 12 categories, each with their own subcategories. All I did was add spells that are not listed in the Oni Edition.
If you want to add a spell or other item to your favorites list, you can ask me to do it for you, or you can do it yourself by going into your Skyrim data folder
C:/steamlibrary/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/interface/favoritesmenu.cfg
You can open the file in Notepad and edit the list until you're happy with it. I recommend backing up this file before editing. Additionally, you can edit this file while Skyrim is open, which will make troubleshooting faster.
If I've missed any spells, weapons, etc. or you feel they fall into the wrong category, please feel free to leave a comment and I'll fix it as soon as possible.
Install:
This is my first "mod" so I don't know how you're supposed to package this stuff. If the big green button doesn't work, just manually download the folder and extract it to the corresponding folder in your Skyrim data folder
Midstream installation is completely safe
compatibility:
As with the categorized favorites menu, this mod is compatible with almost everything, just remember to uncheck the favorites box in SkyUI MCM so you don't get an error message every time you open the favorites menu.
Differences between versions
Shadic's Favorites menu changes "Device Settings to Food/Drinks and Consumables/Miscellaneous" only for consumables
The updated favorites menu works just like the original category favorites menu

Should be compatible with any armor/weapon model that has sword, shield, cloak, breastplate, etc. in its name
As long as wine, stew, meat, etc. are named, it should be compatible with most foods

Co-ordination
Add your own spells/items/abilities:
*Works best if you are in borderless window mode
- Go to Skyrim data folder
- In the data folder, go to the interface folder
- Scroll down until you see favoritesmenu.cfg
- Open favoritesmenu.cfg in notepad or whatever you are using
- Simply add your spell name to any category or sublist
example:
Conjuration ######
[sublist]
name = Summons:
parent_list = Conjuration
enabled = true
keywords = *Enter keywords or names of spells/items you want to add to this list* (eg: Flame Atronach, Frost Atronach, Storm Atronach... You can also use Atronach to override everything in the name with atronach)
Exclude = *Enter keywords to exclude from this list* (Example: daedric crescent is classified as a sword class rather than a transformation class, so you could make daedric crescent an excluded phrase in the sword class)
troubleshooting:
There are two ways to resize the favorites menu
First way:
- Open the favorites menu in the game
- Press/hold CRTL and use the arrow keys to slide the menu. However, this will not be saved once you exit the game

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
