Vicn's English voice plug-in for UNSLAAD.

UNSLAAD is a short quest about half a dragon, it also adds some unique items for the player as well as a method of transformation

The dragon's soul brings health, magic, stamina, and privileges.

Initially, it was only available in Japanese until Kachua translated it into English. Then Skyrim Voice Alliance

Voice acting is added (with permission of course) and the result is a mod that appears in front of you. All characters in Action 1 are now voiced

In version 2.0.0, UNSLAAD has been greatly expanded, and as such, currently only represents the first act. Aelarr continued to translate.

Q: Is this the full version?

Answer: No. This is just the sound file and the translated .esp file. You still need the original Unslaad mod for all meshes, textures, etc.

Q: Do I need a separate translation file?

Answer: No. Includes the latest English .esp file. You only need the original Unslaad mod and its requirements.

Q: Can I use it with any other translated version (Chinese, German...)?

A: Yes, as long as the translation is updated for Unslaad version 2.0.0. Just install this plugin first and overwrite the .esp with the one from the selected translation (but make sure to port the translation to SSE - don't merge the files for Classic and Special editions). This way, you'll get characters speaking in English and subtitles in the language of your choice.

Q: I don’t like certain sounds.

A: No one is saying you have to do this. That's not a problem. Anyway, if you really, really hate the voiced version, there are text-only English translations in the "Optional Files" section.

Q: Why do some characters say the vanilla Skyrim greeting/farewell/battle cry?

A: This is an unfortunate limitation of Vicn using normal voice types (e.g. MaleBrute, FemaleYoungEager) without creating custom voice types. Yes, we know this can be annoying. No, we can't really fix it. On the plus side, this makes the voice acting package compatible with all other translations.

Q: Can I update from the .esp version of UNSLAAD to the .esm version in an existing play/save?

Answer: Absolutely not. This is non-negotiable. This will make your game unrepairable - the references in the .esm version are completely

Different from the .esp version. You may get duplicate NPCs, quests will definitely be interrupted, scripts will become invalid and your save

It can get so bad that no script cleaner under the sun can help you. Under no circumstances can you update a save in progress.

The same situation occurs when both Unslaad.esm and Unslaad.esp are included in the load sequence. This won't work. Definitely a new game or save that has never had Unslaad.

How to install:

Make sure you meet all requirements

Download UNSLAAD Voiced-English plug-in

Install using the Mod Manager of your choice or manually extract the files to the Skyrim Data folder

Let it overwrite the existing Unslaad.esm (you need to do this or you won't get the translated text)

Activate the mod and sort your load order

Play

NOTE: You cannot update to version 2.3.0 from version 2.0.0 or earlier. Vicn reorganized the entire module and requires a new game or a fresh save. If you up …
