About this mod Machine translation

In the Unbound mission, you search a barrel for some potions. Was there any mistake? ! Potion? In a bucket? This actually happens nowhere else in the game. Now they are on the chest.

In 'Unbound', at the beginning of the mission, you have to search for a potion in a barrel. As far as I know, potions are not stored in barrels throughout the game unless the player manually stores them in one (I could be wrong). I've always found this to be inconsistent and it sets a precedent for players to think this is what's actually happening. This was especially confusing on my first playthrough, as I was searching barrels for potions like a fool for ages.

This mod simply places the potion in the chest, but changes the quest notification to search the chest instead of the barrel. That’s all.

This mod is an esp only and therefore can be safely uninstalled/installed at any time. Although I doubt this matters since it only affects early games (MQ101) and you can start a new game anyway.

Thanks and enjoy.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
