This mode makes all perks independent: each perk still requires a skill level to obtain, but does not require any previous perks. This allows you to spend your extra points, only those extras that are relevant to your current character.
I based this mod on the SkyProc patch, so it should be compatible with all other mods, even those that overhaul perk trees.
Required funds:
This module requires Java to be installed on your system.
How it works:
It simply reads the current perk tree (could be vanilla, coordinator, etc.) and removes all conditions regarding other perks.
Install
Extract the mod into the data folder.
Run the file: Data\SkyProc Patchers\PerksUnlinked\start.bat
activate the generated esp file: Perks Unlinked.esp
The patch should be run and placed under all other mods that change Extras, and should be generated again if you add or remove mods that change Extras.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
