About this mod Machine translation
UPI, the precursor to Fallout 4 releases, is an extensive modular patch database that will soon provide hundreds of patches for various mods. Thanks to an automated system, patches can be pre-selected for the required installed mods, resulting in a pure and bug-free experience.
As the predecessor to the Fallout 4 version, the UPI for Skyrim SE aims to provide a bug-free and conflict-free mod list. Although still under heavy development, many patches will focus on fixing conflicting mods.
If you find any patch that has redundant changes, or simply doesn't work, please report it as a bug in the Bugs section.
To understand how UPI works, you have to understand the main structure of mods, as many patches will be based on smaller mods that conflict with larger mods that overhaul the game, such as Beyond Skyrim-Bruma or Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
