The key information is in the YouTube video above - please note that if you don't want to read all of this...

Impudence - Skyrim races are probably the best race ability overhaul available. The unique abilities added to the game make for immersive, killer fun.

This mod allows you to use Imperious in any vanilla or custom race with a lot of flexibility.

Together you can use Morningstar - a minimalist race for Skyrim and Minimalist Empires! Release other skills that cost Dragon Soul.

If you like or use this mod, please endorse it!

Please recognize Imperious-"Races of Skyrim"!

Main features

Choose racial abilities from Imperious - Skyrim races - Only active standing stones while stealth - Be sure to remove the Aether Crown when wearing

Compatible with any original race or custom race

Enables compatibility with other race mods - allows you to use Imperious and other race-changing mods together

All starting racial traits and attributes are imported from Imperious, however the original racial abilities are already in place, you will need to add Imperious abilities from the menu if required

Unleash more abilities by slaying the Dragon Soul

NPCs no longer have the Imperious feature by default, but it can be activated in the mod's main menu - it will add the relevant feature to the NPC when you are close to it

Ability Conflict and Choice

Since we've re-enabled default racial abilities in addition to the Imperious-Skyrim race, there are some known conflicts with Vanilla/Morningstar abilities.

I'll try my best to explain, but if it's too confusing - just try it in game and you'll see what it does...

The following abilities can be selected, but will override/disable Vanilla/Morningstar-like abilities, but will not cost you any points when overriding similar abilities:

Brittany - Selecting Spell Cloak disables/overrides the racial magic resistance of default/vanilla/Morningstar, but does not cost any points if you are Brittany.

Dark Elf - Choosing Ashbourne disables/overrides the default/vanilla/Morningstar racial fire resistance, but does not cost any points if you are a Dark Elf.

Nord - Selecting Son/Daughter of Skyrim will disable/override default/Vanilla/Morningstar's anti-racial frost ability, but it won't cost you any points if you're Nord.

Orcs - Choosing Berserker disables/replaces the race Berserker's Wrath from default/vanilla, but does not cost any points if you are an Orc.

The following abilities cannot be selected as I have yet to find a generally safe way to prevent effects from stacking similar abilities in Vanilla/Morningstar.

The swim speed of the Argonian-Imperious Marsh Dweller conflicts with the swim speed of the Morningstar Marsh Dweller skill, so if you are an Argonian and using the Morningstar mod, you cannot select this

High Elf - The regeneration of Magic Gold and Glass Magic cards conflicts with the regeneration of Magic cards in the High Rebirth ability in Vanilla and Morningstar, so if you are a High Elf you will not be able to select this option

Khajiit - Imperious Rawlith Khaj's unarmed bonus damage is the same as the unarmed bonus damage from his claws in Vanilla and Morningstar, so if you are a Khajiit you won't be able to select this option

Anyway, Morningstar has similar features to Imperious, so I recommend just using those, but I'll explain why I do this in the FAQ below...

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
