This bug seems to be fixed! But I still recommend double checking it on your system.

There is a bug in the Skyrim Skill Uncapper's DLL. On some systems everything works fine, but many (including mine) have serious problems loading it via SKSE64. Please consider doing this:

Choose a SkyrimUncapper.ini that allows more than 100.

Test if the .ini loads correctly every time you start the game. Load save, open the console and type "player.advskill alchemy 1000000000000". Doesn't work if Alchemy has a cap of 100. Once it works, it works until you start the game again (skse64_loader.exe). You are not safe since it loads once. I recommend testing this several times during play until you feel you are safe.

If you encounter problems, do the following:

Install DLL Loader for xSHADOWMANx

Cut/delete SkyrimUncapper.dll and SkyrimUncapper.ini from Data/SKSE/Plugins/

Paste/put SkyrimUncapper.dll and SkyrimUncapper.ini into Data/Plugins/sumwunn/

It should work now. But keep testing until you're sure that it works, and report back if it doesn't. It did the trick for me, but maybe not for you

Plugin loader options:

SKSE64:Data / SKSE / Plugins / SkyrimUncapper.ini

DLL Loader for xSHADOWMANx: Data/Plugins/sumwunn/SkyrimUncapper.ini

Plugin loader by meh321: Data/DLLPlugins/SkyrimUncapper.ini

You can choose which plugin loader to use during installation. The .ini will automatically be installed into the correct folder!

Options:

cap:

You can choose between 100 (vanilla) and 199 ("unlimited"). The equation cap will remain at 150.

Leveling:

Vanilla or tweaked (made when using EQUator).

Mod support options:

Additional support for those using Revelations - Demons of Skyrim, specifically the auto-trigger magic in that mod. If you've ever used it, you'll know that auto-triggering a skill increases the skill level of the triggering spell too quickly. This option reduces the leveling speed of Illusion and Alteration to 1/3 of normal levels. You can of course adjust it manually if you think it's too low. If you use different spells that are not in the illusion and modification areas or encounter similar issues, you should manually adjust the values in SkyrimUncapper.ini.

Information about the Adjusted After Adjustment option:

In a nutshell: Balanced levels for speed, stronger progression early game, harder endings

Note: Typically, using this option will slow down the leveling speed. Adjust it if it's too slow.

Skill EXP gain:

-Slow crafting skill level

  • Armor skill levels faster
  • Small "soft hats" with skill levels 50, 75 and 100

-Character level will also slightly reduce skill level speed

Character EXP gain:

  • Weapon Skills, Armor Skills and Destruction increase your skill level by 15%
  • Crafting skills reduce exp by 12% per skill level
  • Speechcraft, Lockpicking and Pickpocket have 25% less exp per skill level
  • You know why...

Diversification Progress:

  • Early levels will increase your stats. Includes Health/Stamina/Magicka as well as Perks
  • The greater the progress, the less the statistics increase at each level. After character level 50, you will gain significantly fewer statistics, making the late game more challenging.
  • Adjust carrying weight. Health and Magicka now give you some weight.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
