This is a wool tweak/retexture of Shadow Rice using two of my favorite mods.
Shadowmere tweak/retex using KrittaKitty (ported from original Skyrim) and Archet1337 texture. It also makes the shadows impeccable, because let's be honest, a magical horse rising forever from the depths of darkness from a pool of tar is too damn hard to die for. Another thing I noticed is the compatibility issue with Shadowmere Saddle and Royal Saddle. This makes the two saddles completely independent.
Handy Horse SE compatible, no issues yet.
There will be some options in the miscellaneous files, including replacement files for KrittaKitty's realistic horse breed, as direct ports are not compatible with Frost/Shadowmere replacements.
I plan to make another version soon that's a little darker for those who want true black. I also have a custom variant of Frost, but I'm waiting for mod author permissions from an author.
While I've created several mods of my own, this is my first time officially uploading to mods, so any constructive feedback would be appreciated as I'm by no means an experienced modder.

Shadowmere tweak/retex using textures by KrittaKitty(ported from original Skyrim) and Archet1337. It also makes shadowmere invulnerable because let's be honest, a magical horse that rises from the eternal depths of darkness from a pool of tar is too badass to die. Another thing I had noticed is a compatibility issue with the Shadowmere saddle and the imperial saddle. This makes the two saddles completely independent.
Convenient Horses SE compatible without any issues so far.
In the miscellaneous files there will be a few options including replacement files for Realistic Horse breeds by KrittaKitty since the direct port is not compatible with Frost/Shadowmere replacers.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
