About this mod Machine translation
While developing my recent mod list, I decided to create a mod for a font in Skyrim SE that I like to use for my own games. Anyway, I thought I'd share them with the community in case anyone else wants to use them in their own games.
Tyger's Immersive Fonts for SSE is a small mockup I designed myself for my own game, based on several fonts that I found to be both immersive and legible, and easy to read. I use the following fonts:
Dumbledor 2 (main menu)
Dumbledor 2 Thin (most other texts)
MorrisRoman-Black (text in book)
Anke calligraphy FG (handwriting)
While I took inspiration from several other font sets, I found that none of these font models had what I thought was the ideal combination for feeling immersive to me. So I created Tyger's immersive font for SSE for myself and my own gameplay, choosing a font that I felt was both immersive and legible (at least on a 24-inch monitor). While I'm working on my recent mod list, I thought I'd share this little mod for those of you who might find these font choices suitable for them.
Regarding my opinion on the font choice, I chose Dumbledor 2 because it has a bit of old English and calligraphy style clarity. I chose Dumbledoor 2 Thin as the smaller text option, although I encountered some cases where the font character width covered the dialog box, and I would have preferred Dumbledor 2. To me, Morris Roman Blake is an ideal choice for books because it seems to me that a monk, magistrate, priest, or scribe might have used this script, and it has a clear and concise style compared to other forms of calligraphy. . It also allows more text to be displayed on each page, which means more reads per page, fewer pages, and less page turning. With the texture pack, I discovered that books don't need fancy lower covers because these are textured... so Morris Roman Blank was easily my top choice. And, finally, Anke Calligraphic FG is a skilled font that I feel captures a clear handwritten script and allows more text to appear on each page, so many letters and notes end up with fewer pages, and a lot becomes a single page.
Overall, these fonts will work for the vast majority of books, dialogue, letters, notes, and menus, but in rare cases you might end up with a horrifyingly empty box in place of a rarely used character or a mod that was used in a vanilla game... although these instances are very rare for English text. Although I rarely see it in my games so I don't even remember what the character is.
right! I've added a lot of pictures...simply put...I wanted to provide a fairly broad scope to give those interested a good idea of what to expect.
Finally, I made a simple font set for my game...wanted to share...it would be great if others like it and use it. All the best...~Tiger~
NOTE: Simple font models like this have no ESP, so will not affect the total count. I'm thinking of turning this mod into an ESPA labeled ESL's ESP.

With regard to my thinking regarding the font choices, I chose Dumbledor 2 for it's clarity with a little hints of Old English and Calligraphic Style. I would have preferred Dumbledor …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
