Characteristics and changes
The mod covers and changes parts of Tamriel, Dawn Guard Headquarters, Falmer Valley, and Solstheim.
There is no room for powerful blooming or changing images.
The interior of the ice and snow becomes a temperate green cave.
Icicles and ice caps were removed or replaced with lily pads.
The small vanilla flora remains mostly intact indoors, their outdoor world space model replaced by a tropical model.
All the snowy weather was replaced with torrential rain. Some areas have been modified to have tropical climates and are compatible with the vanilla weather of most ENB presets.
To improve visibility and clarity, the mod makes modifications to the weather.
Sounds of strong winds were removed, and sounds from around the tundra were transplanted to other previously snowy areas.
Statics with snow/ice shade flags are stripped away and their side effects don't disappear randomly.
Jungle environment sounds were added.
Object LODs are correctly placed in the base game.
Based on the vanilla tree's original size, select and place the tree accordingly.
Skaal villagers and hunters wear fur, leather, scale armor, and light clothing.
Care has been taken to move or remove obstacles and stray collision cubes.
The color and characteristics of water have been modified to make it look better in-game.
To be sure, the MOD has been checked and cleaned using xEdit and tested repeatedly before release.

While a Vortex-compatible version is also available, please note that this mod works best with Mod Organizer 2 and xEdit for better diagnosis and resolution of mod conflicts. It is also recommended to create a Savegame as a backup before using this MOD and save it, as well as create a MOD Manager profile for this MOD (or clone your existing play profile).
Overall texture packs (i.e. Noble Skyrim, Skyrim HD) may be compatible with this mod, especially those that add snow, ice, or both; please load these packs. Former Rainforest Project.

Some texture packs are for landscapes and are incompatible with glaciers, snow and ice unless specifically designed for this mode.
Better Dynamic Snow is not compatible with this mode as it mainly restores the shading effect of the snow
The ELFX peripheral may revert some previously snow-free buildings (such as the Farmhouse, Windham, and Winterhold buildings) to a frosted shadow effect, a.k.a. a moss-like appearance.
Ele/Ele Lite is compatible.
Cloud texture packs are compatible.
Snow, ice, and glacier effect mods may not be compatible with this mod, especially as this mod attempts to remove ice/snow effects.
SkyRIM Particle Patch SE is compatible.
Some water mods such as Water, RWT or Pure Water may or may not affect the mod and they should be loaded after this mod; RWT wet rock effects may affect the overall appearance as meshes are modif …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
