About this mod Machine translation
Allows you to turn any college robe from each magic school into one of the three colors of Triss armor. Also included are VISPatch for the original mod and my own additions.
I like the look of Rusey's More Triss Armor Recolors UNP (required mod), but as a mage I can't really use them.
Then I stumbled upon the Triss Armor by Darth Sidious, then Darth Sidious's Padawan-Master School of Destruction Robes, which seemed to do the job, but only for School of Destruction and Apprentice level robes. So I took it a step further and added all three colored versions of the robes for each level of each wizarding school, all of which can be crafted with a tanning rack. These recipes will only appear if you have the correct level of University Robe for that version in your inventory, so the menu shouldn't be cluttered.
To summarize, you can make crafts using regular college robes:
Red, blue or dark version
Gown at novice, apprentice, expert, expert or master level in the following schools
alter, destroy, hallucinate, summon or restore,
There are 75 options in total!

I loved the look of More Triss Armor Recolors UNP by Rusey (required mod) but playing as a mage I couldn't really use them.
Then I stumbled onto Triss Armor As Apprentice-Master Destruction College Robes by Darth Sidious, which seemed to do the job but only for the Destruction school and only for apprentice-level robes. So I took it a step further, and added all three colored versions for every level robe in every magic school, all craftable via the tanning rack. The recipes only show up if you have the correct-level college robes for that version in your inventory, so your menu shouldn't be cluttered up from them.
All in all, you can craft from the normal college robes:
Red, Blue, or Dark versions of
Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, or Master level robes in the schools of
Alteration, Destruction, Illusion, Conjuration, or Restoration,
for a total of 75 options!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
