About this mod Machine translation

Train through the MCM menu, disable skill progression temporarily or indefinitely, and gain skill boosts from completing missions or other achievements.

This mod does the following:

  • Add MCM menu, which can improve your skills.

Why do you want this? Are you tired of starting from level 1? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see a level 60 character without combat skills? Want to be a better Smith and not step on Ghorza again? Just open your MCM and level yourself as needed.

When you open the MCM menu you will see a list of all skills with a slider going from the current skill level to level 100. Now supports driverless driving! Use the slider to select the desired skill level. When you close the menu, your character will gain these skill levels as if they had completed them through normal use, including gaining the appropriate level and triggering any skill-dependent quests.

  • Add tasks to track trainers.

I'll never remember who was the coach and who wasn't. Whenever you meet a trainer, their name will be added to the mission so you can easily see where they are on the map later if you need to be trained. For those who prefer to keep your quest log clean, this option is turned off until you turn it on in MCM.

  • Add an option to disable skill boosts by using.

Turn off training to use your skills as much as possible without having to level up. Put yourself in the sweet spot of difficulty and never leave it. Skill levels can only be acquired through training and book learning.

  • Add option to gain skills when completing missions, or gain skills upon completing any random mission.

Optional aid to improve your skills. Completing certain tasks will give you "skill points" that you can spend after sleeping to improve your skills.

  • Sleeping and standing stone replacement.

Obviously skill training rate increases from sleep, and standing stones are useless if your skills don't improve. This mod replaces these bonuses with the following:

Warrior Stone: All warrior skills are 10% more efficient.

Mage Stone: 10% more effective against all mage skills.

Thief's Stone: All Thief skills are 10% more efficient.

Rest: +50% Magicka regeneration and +25 carry weight for 8 hours.

Good Rest: +50% Magicka and Stamina Regeneration and +50 Carrying Weight for 8 hours.

Lover's Comfort: +50% magic, stamina, health regeneration and +100 carry weight for 8 hours.

You can get a stat bonus, a training bonus, or both. Configured in MCM.

A note on compatibility:

Due to certain limitations, this mod has some minor compatibility implications. The following are not supported:

one. Skill rewards for completing non-Bethesda missions.

If a mod adds quests that increase skills upon completion (similar to Amren's House Sword or Noster's Lost Helmet), the reward will not be detected. Bethesda missions will be correctly detected.

Non-Bethesda skill books are read from the player's inventory.

If a mod adds skill books directly to your inventory, it won't be detected correctly. Place the book on the floor before reading. Discover books all over the world that work well in any mode.

C. Any skill book read from the container's inventory.

If you read a skill book from a bookshelf, chest, backpack, or other container, the skill boost will not be detected. Remove the book from the container and read it from your own inventory, or better yet place it on the ground and read it from there. This also applies to Oghma Infinium.

d. Scripting skills improved for other mods. There is no way to detect them.

Of course, if you feel you have missed a skill, you can use the included MCM menu to add the corresponding skill.

The following are supported:

A generation. Skill trainer from any mod.

II. Discover skill books discovered from any mod (if the mod author adds the appropriate keywords).

III. Skill books can be learned from any mod, including Dragonborn, as long as the skill book is detected correctly (activated in the world or vanilla book) …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
