Housecarls overhaul

TM Housecarls

I've always loved Aisaka aka Tevinter Mage's TM Housecarls: simple, unique, killer, beautiful, without overkill or immersion breaking. So I ported the mod to Special Edition, I played it a lot and now I'm releasing it, with Aisaka's license of course.

feature:

  • Includes an overhaul of all Housecarls, dlc.

-My newbie: Lydia is now wearing a custom armor, I think the steel armor looks too vanilla for her ass.

Loading order: Lower mods as much as possible, otherwise other mods may change the appearance of NPCs.

Credits: Aisaka aka Tevinter Mage for making the original mod for Oldrim.

TM Housecarls

I always liked TM Housecarls by Aisaka aka Tevinter Mage: simple, unique, lore-friendly, beautiful without overkill or immersion breaking. So I ported the mod to the Special Edition, I played with it a lot and now I'm releasing it, with Aisaka's permission of course.

Features:

  • Overhauls of all the Housecarls, dlc included.
  • New by me: Lydia now wears a custom armor, I thought the steel armor was too much vanilla for her bad-ass look.

Load Order: put the mod as lower as possible, otherwise other mods may change the NPCs appearance.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
