The Celestial Bow is truly the ultimate bow.

It fires 50% faster than a regular bow and is more powerful, meaning arrows fired from it have a much longer range, speed and trajectory than regular arrows (much like firing a crossbow).

Bows and arrows can also be equipped with a variety of exquisite enchanted celestial orb arrows.

What does this mod do?

This mod allows you to craft the following awesome items at the forge under the Steel tab (requires Steel Smithing perk):

For those players who wish to earn the bow through the game rather than crafting it, it can be obtained by defeating the final Draugr Overlord boss in Breath of the Wild Balor, Whispering Wall. Having played a stealth archer, I prefer the bow to the crossbow. But after I played crossbow, I found that I really wanted to have a bow that could shoot arrows, like a bow.

I think it's very unfair to get a crossbow with the same range as a bow, but it fires bolts at supersonic speeds, has 50% armor penetration, and explodes with extra fire, ice, or electric damage!

I decided to make a bow that would shoot like a modern, re-bent, high tension compound bow, with metal arrows that would be as lightweight as an S bow. I also considered that to keep things balanced (given the benefits of the new Dawnguard bo), the bow should also be able to fire explosive arrows, similar to the explosive crossbow. Compared to the thrasher, it is balanced, with the same firing effect, but with a 50% increase in fire rate to balance the thrasher's 50% armor penetration.

One thing that makes life difficult for an archer is the Soul Trap target. To effectively do this without an enchanted bow, you must damage the target to a point, switch from the two-bow weapon to a magic spell, equip this skill, cast the Soul Trap spell, and back to the two-bow weapon, kill the enemy. target, then only the spell will work.

As the Celestial Bow's firing rate increased, and to maintain balance, I decided that the bow should not be seductive. So, to solve the problem of soul traps, I finally decided to create a soul trap arrow that does all of the above at once.

For fun, I also added two other arrowable arrows: "Paralysis" (area of ​​effect) and "Chaos Absorption" (provides the same effect as "Dwarven Black Bow of Fate").

Beware the Paralyzing Arrow: This is an area of ​​effect enchantment that if used within 10 meters of the target will not only paralyze the target, but also you.

Origins and Mod Targets

The Sky Bow is a reimagining of the Oriel Bow. I like the look of this weapon and will add it as a standalone mod. You don't need Dawnguard to use it.
