About this mod Machine translation
"Whoever holds this hammer, if they're worthy, should have the power of Thor!" Adds Asgardian armor and Mjölnir based on Marvel's Thor.
"Whoever holds this hammer should have the power of Thor if they are worthy!"
This mod aims to bring the armor and weapons of Marvel's Thor to Skyrim. Become the Lord God of Thunder! Shoot the shining lightning! Work hard... like, really hard... so they fly... like, really far.
It's been a few years since I released the original Heart of Thunder mod. Now, after what seems like an age, I've updated it.
The mod has been rebuilt from the ground up, including (mostly) new meshes and new textures. Implementation has also been simplified. No exotic handmade materials, no hoops to jump through. Pick up the hammer, craft the armor, and dust off.
This particular version has been ported correctly (as far as I know) and includes updated grids and esp forms.
Install and uninstall
It is recommended to use a mod manager (NMM, Mod Organizer), otherwise just unzip it into the Data folder.
To uninstall manually, delete Heart of Thunder- Ragnarok Edition SE.bsa, Heart of Thunder- Ragnarok Edition SE - Textures.bsa and .esp from your Data folder.
armor
Armor comes in heavy and light varieties. I try to keep the stats balanced. They are similar to Ebony or Stalhrim, and benefit from the tempering of the Ebony smithing perk, but it does not require crafting. The armor can be crafted once you pick up and equip Mjölnir, and can be crafted at Skyforge in the Ebony section. Cloaks can be crafted under Miscellaneous.
Heavy and light differ not only in statistics but also in appearance.
The lightweight version is modeled after Thor's armor in Thor: The Dark World and is sleeveless with bronze trim.
Basic statistics:
Breastplate: A-38 W-6
Helmet: A-16 W-1
Wristband: A-11 W-1
Boots: A-11 W-1
The heavy version features the armor from Avengers: Age of Ultron, with a scaled suit and silver accents.
Basic statistics:
Breastplate: A-43 W-35
Helmet: A-21 W-7
Wrist guards: A-16 W-6
Boots: A-16 W-6
Thor's Hammer
Now, Mjölnir's story is slightly different. Its base properties are similar to Ebony's Mace, and it benefits from the perks associated with One-Handed Mace. However, its charm makes it stand out (perhaps a little too much).
Mjölnir:D-20 W-14
Normal attacks deal standard invulnerable damage. Power attacks cause the target to fly with a force equal to all 3 words of Unrelenting Force. A lightning strike will also occur, causing 20 points of impact damage to everyone within its radius. The shock wave will hit back the most within the same radius. Blasters are actually non-hostile, so don't accidentally hate friendships, but be careful about using them indoors with companions.
Block Bashing will fire a bolt of lightning from the hammer equivalent to the vanilla Thunderbolt spell. Hold intercept and hold down the attack button to trigger the spell. Attack attacks have no effect while blocking.
Due to the scripted nature of the enchantment, it cannot be disillusioned and reapplied to another weapon.
Place
Mjölnir is located on a hill in the middle of the Whiterun plain. Head to the north side and you'll see a path leading up to the mountain. As you approach you will see a pillar of light, head towards it. You'll find that the hammer is bathed in a rather nice and atmospheric shaft of light. (see picture)
Known issues
If the power attack effect doesn't fire, take out the hammer, put it down, pick it up and re-equip it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
