Changed map markers for DLC houses from "town" (big houses) to "settlement" (smol houses)
I don't know if it's just me, but it always annoys me that the DLC houses have the same map markers (e.g. Riverwood, Helgen, Rorikstead). You understand. City. There are even markers for smaller settlements such as Darkwater Crossing, Old Hroldan, and others. But for some strange reason, BGS decided that a large town sign would be the best choice for a large estate.
So I made this mod. It covers 5 of the 6 DLC houses. I decided to label Myrwatch "Castle" as it looks more like an abandoned tower than a manor

I don't know if it's just me, but i was always super-annoyed by the fact that houses from DLCs use the same map marker as for example Riverwood, Helgen, Rorikstead. You know. TOWNS. And there is even marker for smaller settlements like Darkwater Crossing, Old Hroldan and such. But for some strange reason BGS decided that big town marker is the best for one big manor.
And so i made this mod. It covers 5 out of 6 DLCs homes. I decided to leave Myrwatch with its "castle" marker since it is more like abandoned tower than manor.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
