Therio's Augmented Dragon Rework
Therio's Enhanced Dragon rework aims to make dragon battles in Skyrim even more intense by adding stat tweaks, AI enhancements, multi-dragon battles, boss dragons, and new powerful shouts. This mod has build compatibility to work with other dragon mods. Most of the mod's features can be configured through SkyUI's MCM (SKSE required).
feature:
AI Enhancements: Dragons are now faster, their attack patterns are more random, they will stay on the ground as long as it is beneficial, and they are closer to the player.
Stat Adjustments: Dragons have increased health, damage/magic resistance and attack/shout damage. (MCM)
Stagger Poise: Dragons now resist stagger based on their health. (MCM)
Reinforcements: Dragons can now summon up to 2 additional dragons to join the battle. (MCM)
New Shouts: Dragons can now use larger shouts based on their boss type or player configuration. (MCM)
Boss Dragons: There are three levels of boss dragons. Bosses have increased health and attack/shout damage, and new shouts based on their level and rank. (MCM)
Boss Assault: At the beginning of the battle, the Boss dragon will attack up to 2 normal dragons. This feature is independent of the vanilla spawning system. The security zone option is enabled by default. (MCM)
Named Dragons: Named vanilla dragons are now also classified as bosses. (MCM)
Catharsis of Contempt: Collect minor tablets from the boss dragon (level-based rarity). Depending on your Boss Assault settings, use them with a special roar to trigger a boss attack to your location. Not suitable for interior design. Using this in a place like Blackreach will work, but will produce strange effects. (MCM)
Configure Presets: Choose a preset based on a theme and/or customize mode settings to your liking. (MCM)
Compatibility: See the compatibility section below.
Require:
SKSE and SkyUI: Required for MCM menu.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
