The Vegan Reinvention of Organic ENB

Fresh, vibrant, natural and healthy.

This has nothing to do with vegetarianism. It's just a play on words called "Organic ENB" and this is just a reinvention of it. Just a joke, this is not a mod that will add or change anything vegan related. Just a supplement to ENB. The goal is to get really vibrant colors without being oversaturated and with a more natural aesthetic.

Update: Preset Vegan Vivid Dolomite is available in Vivid Weather and Dolomite (obsidian optional). Vegan CoT V1.1 - Reduces the brightness of clouds, especially those that are not adjacent or direct to the sun. I recommend using Dolomite Weather, which is the preset here, it looks better than the CoT reshape, just my opinion. I configured the Dolomite with the obsidian option and I would recommend it, the color is slightly better.

I'm currently using OrganicENB SE and configuring forwarding to my personal preference and have discussed sharing my presets with Skysan4298. It's not perfect or complete, it's a WIP. I will continue to make adjustments and presets for the other weathers available for ENB (vanilla and vivid weather).

Note: I did not use or provide any modding resources. Any mods or ENBs listed on this page are not available for download here, only links to the original sources that I found best for this preset. The only files provided on this page are my reshade.ini and ENB's enbseries.ini, which I have Skysan4298's permission to share.

Make sure to check out the "Requirements" drop-down menu.

Install

Make sure there are no legacy ENB and Reshade files in your Skyrim Special Edition directory. You can download ENB and Reshade Manager to delete files if needed.

Install OrganicENB SE as specified on the page.

Next to install Reshade run Reshade_Setup.exe and click Select Game. Navigate to your Skyrim Special Edition folder and select SkyrimSE.exe. Click on Direct3D 10+ and press Yes to download the shader.

Installing Enhanced Lights and FX doesn't select any options unless you go into the SMIM grid and check if SMIM is used.

Install the weather you prefer Dolomite or Tamriel climate. For CoT, I chose Nights Level 3, Warm Interior, Hardcore Dungeons.

Next up is Claralux. Also download the patch and select the ELFX DLC, USSEP (if used), and other patches (if needed).

Using different options with the mod may produce different results, these are the settings I use when configuring the conversion.

Download my preset weather now. Unzip the .zip. To balance my forwarding setup, I made some adjustments using enbseries.ini. Place the .ini file in the Skyrim Special Edition directory where SkyrimSE.exe is not in the Data folder.

If after you launch the game you will know that Reshade is using the Bethesda logo. The screen will glitch, a gray header will be at the top and all repartitioned files will be read. While in the menu, press shift+f2 to open the reconfiguration window. Select Vegan Dolomite.ini or Vegan CoT.ini from the drop down menu and it will load the preset.

Installation Instructions for Tamriel Climate

The game doesn't immediately look like my screenshot. It will be darker. I made some minor adjustments to the game under enbeffect.fx. I currently don't have permission to share these files, only enbseries.ini. However, I can show you how to do it, and it's easy.

Press shift+enter to open the ENB menu while playing. You will see a window called Shader Parameters. Click on enbeffect.fx and the submenu will drop down. Under ------------Bloom you'll see Wilds: the brightness of day and night. You can adjust these to your liking. I use brightness external day 0.11 and contrast external day -0.05.
