*****Player Characters Only***** Tired of that awesome preset that looks like a monster when you load it? Well, the presets depend on you using the EXACT mode the author uses, and each slider setting relies on the SAME MODS in the SAME ORDER. No need to bother anymore. The glory behind my files is HEAD MESH. Plug and play!

Beautiful female elf

here

****This only applies to player characters and does not affect NPCs****

Are you tired of downloading those presets that look awesome, only to load them into your game and make them look monster?

Displaced eyes? Open your mouth? Cheeks blowing up like balloons?

good. Presets depend on two things: You use SAME MODS in SAME ORDER as an author.

I came up with a solution: a header mesh with nothing else but the RaceMenu.

The instructions are simple.

Step 1: Install the file via MO2, Vortex, NMM, or put it into the Skyrim directory.

Step 2: Follow my video tutorial that walks you step-by-step through importing your new shiny head mesh, including the important step of adding the mask (to avoid those nasty neck seams).

Step 3: The head will be bald and egg-shaped, but without any blemishes. Simply edit your hair, eyes, eyebrows and more to your heart's content!

Step 4: If you mess up, just reload the grid.

Step 5: Enjoy!

It's important to note a few things. While adding a mask can reduce/eliminate neck seams, any head/body color mismatch will be determined by your body texture and has nothing to do with the head mesh.

The mesh will work on Bosmer, Dunmer, Altmer but sadly Orsimer (sorry Shrek and Fiona) is not available.

The meshes work as humans, but they have sprite features (eyes, nose, ears), but hey, maybe you want that!

I've included two screenshots, one of my Dunmer Arinessa and the other of my brother's Bosmer character Luxia.

The grid has been tested on three different loading orders with different mods, and it loads beautifully every time.

FINALLY

BEAUTIFUL FEMALE ELVES

ARE HERE

****This is for the player character ONLY and will NOT affect NPCs****

Are you sick of downloading those awesome looking presets, only to load them in game and be presented with a monstrosity?

Eyes displaced? Mouth gaping? Cheeks blown up like balloons?

Well. Presets rely on two things: That you use the SAME MODS in the SAME ORDER as the author.

I present a solution: A head mesh that relies on nothing aside from RaceMenu.

The instructions are easy.

Step 1: Install the file through MO2, Vortex, NMM, or drop into your Skyrim Directory.

Step 2: Follow my video tutorial walking you through how to import your new shiny head mesh, including the IMPORTANT step of mask adding (to avoid those pesky neck seams).

VIDEO:

Step 3: The head will be bald and a little egg shaped, but NO WORRIES. Simple edit your hair, eyes, brows, etc to your hearts content!

Step 4: If you mess up, simply reload the mesh.

Step 5: ENJOY!

It's important to note a couple things. While mask adding will reduce/eliminate neck seams, any head/body color mismatch will be decided by your body textures and are unrelated to the head mesh.

The mesh will work on Bosmer, Dunmer, Altmer, but sadly not Orsimer (sorry Shrek and Fiona).

The mesh can work on humans, but they will have elf features (eyes, nose, ears) but hey, maybe you want that!

I've included two screenshots, one of my Dunmer, Arinessa, and one of my brother's Bosmer character, Luxia.

Feel free to leave any comments regarding praise, criticism, or issues.

This mesh has been tested on three different load orders with vastly different mods, and loads beautifully each time.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
