Jokerine's new dungeon from Oldrim to SSE. What lies behind the lid of the frozen sarcophagus?
From Jinkine to Skyrim's official port to SSE's official SSE port. All credits go to her for design and implementation. Many thanks for allowing open permission to port it. The original mod can be found here:
The mystery of the frozen underground
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---------------.esp has been run through the Creation Kit and saved in Form 44. Since Jokerine does this in TE5Edit, no cleanup is required. Meshes and textures are processed using the latest version of SSE NifOptimizer (3.0.5) for compatibility with SSE. If you have any questions please let me know as I have a copy of the non-optimized version as well. Please note that this mod is provided as-is and will not receive any support. I installed it in my game and everything works fine, including scripts and sounds. It's a fairly small Dungeon, but very cool and can be used as a player's house after the mission is completed if desired. It's your choice.
important! Please note that I will delete any posts that show spoilers! Some players may want to figure this out on their own without using some of the tools in the post section that reveal how to advance the story. If you're having trouble with your progress, see the Posts section on the Oldrim page to learn how to move forward without getting frustrated.
compatibility:
The only thing that might be affected is placing notes on The Frozen Hearth on a pole. If any mod changes this area like JK's Skyrim and others, it may cause the notes not to appear. Please read the post on the Oldrim page written by Jokerine on how to fix it. Also note that if you have an older Potato PC you may experience frame rate issues as the starting area is a bit tight but Jokerine has added a lot of static objects to minimize this.
Here is Jokerine's original description from the Oldrim page:

Hello everyone! This little mod is a tinny dungeon I've been working on for a "Boss Battles" modding contest. what can
Lying under a dusty sarcophagus lid?
The file has been cleaned using TES5EDIT, doesn't require any DLC, is fully navigable and has some very lightweight scripts (provided by my partners in crime), so it should be safe for everyone to use. However, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, just in case
mistake.
The new dungeon, a mysterious crypt west of Winterhold aptly named the Frozen Crypt, is a tiny two-plot affair, no big deal. All containers in the new dungeon are safe and do not respawn, so it can be used as a player's home if you wish. Inside you may or may not find some new weapons, a
Whole buncha loot and more.
I recommend you install this mod by a very talented modder to increase your enjoyment.

To get started, head to Winterhold and read the note stuck at the entrance to The Hearth.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
