The McMiller Chronicles SE

A simple rogue mission...or is it? Conversions and uploads respect the permissions provided by Merte on the original upload page.

I didn't create this mod. I just converted Merte's original work from Skyrim Special Edition.

All characters are fully voiced. Running some errands for businessman Angus McMiller leads to deception, revenge and cherishment. Shop in Solitude's shops, steal from bandits and kill an ancient vampire lord.

troubleshooting:

First: make sure your Skyrim installation is up to date.

Q: Angus is in Winking Skeever, but he won't talk to me.

A: Save your game with the loaded mod (a quick save is enough). Then exit the game to the desktop. Then launch the game again and load the save you just created. Hopefully he should be talking to you now.

Q: When I click the "Subscribe" button, the mod won't install.

Answer: Sometimes Steam refuses to install mods. You can also get The McMiller Chronicles from Skyrim:

You can install mods for Skyrim using their manager, or you can install them manually. To install the mod manually, download the zip archive containing the mod. Then extract these two files into the skyrim\data folder. Make sure to activate Mac Miller Chronicles in the data manager before starting the game (click "Data" in the Skyrim game launcher).

Q: The game crashes when I enter a certain location.

A: May conflict with another mod. The game may crash if another mod occupies the same world space as McMiller Chronicles. Try disabling other mods that add or change world dates. If your save game was created with other such mods activated, the problem may still persist after disarming them because the data is still stored in the save file. Try an older save game or start a new game. You can also try going to the location of the crash from COC in the main menu to see if the problem is resolved after deactivating other mods.
