About this mod Machine translation

The SE's only model will only fill your little crow rock. Show those dark elves some love they deserve.

Summarize

This mod populates the Crow Rock in the town of Dumo by adding 18 new NPCs and unique appearances. They may seem insignificant to you, but each of them follows its own daily routine. They eat, sleep, work and hang out just like everyone else. During the day, they would spread out among their various workplaces, gather in hotels for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and finally sleep in newly constructed cells at night. In addition, some unused markers and furniture were added both indoors and out for authenticity and variety. One example is the addition of several chairs to the dry cleaning net to accommodate these new NPCs. All in all, this modernization has made the town a more lively place.

detail

Crow Rock is primarily a mining-based town. So why is no one here to protect my baby? There are of course a few guards patrolling the town, but they mostly stay on the breakwater and market. Godfort added a dedicated guard to patrol the entrance to the mine.

A woman will now assist Galdis in taking your orders and maintaining the hotel.

A farmer will now engage in real farming while his boss Garin manages the market.

Other miners also came here to help dig the huge mine.

Several workers will work at the docks, markets, and temples, doing a variety of things.

Azura, Boitiya and Mohalla, these "reclassifications", have attracted some pilgrims to the temple.

In addition, there are residents, refugees and loggers and beggars.

Since the crowd in the inn was larger and there was a woman, the cobwebs were removed.

The NPC is praying in the temple.

Additional Information

It is recommended to use gforr with unmodified vanilla Crow Rock as it adds some objects that may cause problems if used with a mod that heavily modifies the area. But it's very small, with only a few markers, mostly here and there. So try out your favorite Raven Rock model and see how it goes.

I'm planning to make a Raven Rock mod of my own that will be inspired by some of the great Raven Rock mods that already exist, and will take the best features from those mods and merge them with their permissions. Just wait.

gforr only adds faces of new NPCs. No solid meshes or textures. They use normal default values or values added by the mod you use.

Not every NPC member has a voice.

NPCs sometimes get stuck in front of doors or somewhere. This is a common problem that usually resolves itself after a while, either by entering/leaving the cell.

Gforr moved two broken trees behind Garyn's house and used Navmesh to find a better path through the area.

There are no scripts in this model. So it can be safely installed/uninstalled in the game. Although for realism's sake it is strongly recommended that it be installed after the mines reopen.

All these NPCs sleep in two cells created specifically for them, called "Rest" and "Room". So together they are called the restroom. The entrance can be found in the dry cleaning net, but you are not supposed to enter those cells. Why, you ask? Because you can finally enter Cyrodiil by entering the door. Okay, no kidding, but I'm really excited for that model.

The idea for this model came from Vanilla's story itself. After you reopen the mines, everyone there seems happy and often expresses how the town is thriving again. But there are no visual changes at all. While this mod doesn't modify the town, it does help you make changes by adding more "good guys."

I originally planned to port on the "filled Thorsheim" model, but did not receive any reply from the author. Additionally, the goal of the mod is to add absolutely inconsequential NPCs that just wander aimlessly around an area. No offense, but I'd like to see some more lively people. So I decided to make a model myself.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
