About this mod Machine translation

Add in the twenty or so citizens wandering around the "city" of Bruma, making it feel even more densely populated.

Bruma is a nice place, but why are there so few people wandering around? This is the most prosperous city in Tanriel. So I tried to change it.

So far, there are about 10 types of citizens with 3 AI packages. All three packages will allow NPCs to interact with idle markers from time to time.

Initially, I planned to improve the mod called "Extremely Tiny Bruma Additions" by just adding NPCs with the same AI package, doing so on a much smaller scale. However, I quickly realized that this mod's ai package does not use the sandbox ai package, and adding more npcs would make them march in strange formations like soldiers. Also, I noticed that he has been inactive since early 2018, so it takes a long time to get permission from mod writers.

So I scrapped it and started from scratch adding about 12 markers and 3 sandbox AI packs to allow the new citizen NPCs to move around random spots naturally. As for now, citizens will forever only roam the streets of Bruma. If you want to change that, try more.

Install

Simply place the Brumacitizens.esp file and the mesh and texture folders into the Skyrim Special Edition -> Data folder, then activate Brumacitizens.esp like any other normal mode.

Bruma is good place but why there's so few people wandering around? It's a city on the most prosperous part of Tamriel. So I've tried to change it.

As for now there's about 10 types of citizens with three ai packages. All three packages will allow NPCs to interact with idle markers from time to time.

At first, I was planning to improve the mod named "Extremely Minor Bruma Additions", which does same thing in much smaller scale, by just adding NPCs with same AI packages. However, I soon realized that this mod's AI package don't use sandbox AI package and adding more NPCs to it would make them marching in weird column formation like soldiers. Also I've noticed that It would take forever to get a permission from mod author since he wasn't active since early 2018.

So I've scrapped it and started on adding about a dozen markers and three sandbox AI packages from scratch to make new citizen NPCs walking around random points naturally. As for now, citizens will wander around only streets of Bruma forever and ever. If you want to change that then your more then welcome to try it.

Install

Just put BrumaCITIZENS.esp file and meshes, textures folder inside Skyrim Special Edition -> Data folder and activate BrumaCITIZENS.esp like anyother normal mods.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
