About this mod Machine translation

describe:

This mod forces all female elder NPCs to wear their default outfit.

It was made for use with clothing changer mods so that female older NPCs would not change their clothes using such mods.

In the 1.0 update, I added a lot of NPCs. The complete list is at the end of the page. Included now are female Argonians, Khajiits, older NPCs in their 40s and 50s, and of course the Elders. Also includes DLC.

compatibility:

It will not be compatible with any other mods that change the NPCs my mod has modified

Frequently Asked Questions:

Problem: Doesn't work at all!

Answer: Move my mod to the bottom of the mod load order or use LOOT

Question: Why are their faces wrinkled but not wrinkled?

A: Just like on Skyrim, for old NPCs from the 40s or 50s. For example: Gerda.

Question: Old NPCs walk without shoes or naked!

A: You can permanently fix this problem using the console: click on the NPC in question and type "resetinventory" (without the quotes). You need to do this for every wrong NPC.

I think this happens if you have already encountered the NPC and after applying my mod the NPC outfit will have a different reference ID and will not be automatically worn. This issue will not occur if you encounter no NPCs or restart a new game.

Q: I have a gap or gap in my neck, what should I do?

A: Usually this means you have different textures for the body and head, in which case my mod has nothing to do with the issue.

Q: What if I just want the default outfits for older NPCs (instead of e.g. Argonians and Khajiits)?

A: I've thought about it, but I won't provide all possible options because that would mean creating too many different esp files.

Q: I'm using the "Bijin Warmaidens" mod instead of "Bijin Wives" (for example), what should I do?

Answer: Same answer as the previous question.

Q: What about the default clothing for male NPCs?

A: This mod does not include male NPCs and never will.

Q: What default outfit do you use on these NPCs?

A: As of update 1.0, I will use Exeter's UNP armor mesh and the vanilla mesh if I can't find it in Exeter's mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
