About this mod Machine translation
Tenebrae, the Infinity Sword's oldest sibling, makes your enemies truly fear the dark.
"Even after we grow up, darkness retains the power to terrify us. So some say we shouldn't go too far in asking who else lives in that darkness. It's better not to know, they say."
You wield the Infinity Sword, destroying enemies with searing fire; Silmeri freeze and electrocute those. History says nothing about these two powerful weapons, driving those who discovered it to seek them out. However, history has forgotten that there are not always two. Before Silmeri, before Infinity Sword, there was only one:::This MOD requires DAWNGUARD and DRAGONBERN::
Tenebray is the third sword in the "Infinity Sword" series. Unlike the Silmeri and the Infinity Sword, Tenebrae's powers are based on light and dark, which makes for something unique.
The sword's magic damage and power attack spells depend on whether it's night or day. During the day, you get some light-based skills, the sword does light-based damage (like emitting undead and stuff), and it also fires blood-skal Blade-esque light projectiles. If you use the sword in sunny weather, the damage caused by these effects is increased.
At night, the sword produces darkness-based effects. Those struck by weapons during the night have their health and stamina drained, they will be slowed down, and they will be driven into a frenzy as darkness clouds their minds. As with lighting effects, the damage caused by these effects increases if the weather is bad. With the help of light and dark effects, those killed by the sword will be reduced to ashes (if it's daytime and sunny), or reduced to a pile of vinyl (if it's night and the weather is bad).

Gaetin's sword
To get the sword, you must go into the Soul Mountain and fight the Reaper in his lair. Once you kill his ass, the sword appears in the swirling darkness. Depending on your relevant skill level (61 or higher), a two-handed or one-handed version will be displayed. If you end up choosing a different skill path after retrieval, you can perform a controller switch on the smelter. If you've fought off the Reaper, returning to his lair should be reminiscent of this sword.
If for some reason the sword fails to spawn, or you have killed the Reaper and returned to his lair and the sword does not spawn, you can shoot two balls on the ceiling to make the sword spawn. Facing the entrance, the gadget on the left will spawn 2 swords, while the gadget on the right will spawn 1 sword.
Known issues
Skill additions do not follow a day/night cycle, so this means that if night falls or daylight rises, you must re-equip your sword to gain the corresponding power.

Oh hey, I have a Discord server now! Stop talking nonsense and maybe be sneaky. :3

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
