Temporal Save
Throughout the relationship, many modes increase the difficulty, most through combat, some through other means. This mod is inspired by mods such as "Immersive Sleep Save", where the process of saving the game is limited by methods that control or deny save scum, and therefore increase difficulty or risk.
Temporal Save takes a different approach.
Starting with the second version of the mod installed, Saving, Full, Quick and Auto are completely disabled.
The only way to save the game is to utilize a new spell given to you that lets you convert the Soul Stone into a Time Crystal, also known as an Anchor. So this saves your game material costs, and oftentimes you might find yourself arguing about spending crystals in front of a room because you might need to be better against something worse, as long as you have any leeway. Although the message says automatic and ready to load, the save made is a full save. Depending on the large load order and mod configuration, you will be given a single courtesy Temporal Crystal at the start. That said, if you die and you haven't saved your game, that's it, gone.
The conversion of soul gems is the most logical ratio in my opinion since their value is both empty and fulfilling.
The ratio of EMPTY SOUL GEMS to time crystals
Petty bourgeoisie 8:1 price 10
Smaller 4:1 price 25
Ordinary 2:1 price 50
Large 1:1 price 100
1:2 price 200
The ratio of filling soul GEMS to time crystal
Petty bourgeoisie 4:1 price 40
Smaller 2:1 price 80
Ordinary 1:1 price 150
Large 1:2 price 350
1:4 price 500
I chose to omit the Black Soul Gem and Azura's Star because they completely ruin the tension and difficulty of the simulated objectives. Black soul gems are expensive, bandits are cheap and plentiful. This will completely break the black stars, and even regular stars will allow you to get a refillable Soul Gem that won't cost money or effort to return.
These are also undesirable from a lore perspective, as the Ideal Masters may protest the use and destruction of the Black Souls they covet, and Azura may equally protest for similar reasons.

Temporal Save does not change any assets in the game and does not exist in game cells
Temporal Save can be used with mods like Immersive Sleep as they deal with similar concepts

I thank Jaiim for letting me lead me into CK and inspiring me to actually make this mod, which is my first mod.

Temporal Save
Across the many mods increase difficulty, most through combat, some through other means. This mod was inspired by mods such as "Immersive Sleep to Save" in which the process of saving your game is limited both as a method to control or deny save scumming and to increase difficulty or risk as a result.
Temporal Save does this in a different approach.
Saving, Full, Quick and Auto are entirely disabled from the second the mod is installed.
Your only means to save the game is by utilizing a new spell given to you that will allow you to convert soul gems into temporal crystals also referred to as anchors. As such this give a material cost to saving your game, often you might find yourself debating to spend a crystal or not before a room as you might have to fight something worse just beyond, provided you have any to spare at all. The saves made are full saves despite the message saying auto and can be loaded to at any time. A single courtesy Temporal Crystal will be given to you on start in light of large load orders and mod configuration. That said, should you die and you had yet to save your game anyway, that's it, gone.
The conversion of soul gems is in a ratio that I found most logical given their value both empty and filled.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
