Wearable SMP wolf tail that matches the wearer's hair color.

MOD REQUIREMENTS:

1.BodySlide and Outfit Studio to build your choice of 3BA or BHUNP

2.FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP for the physics

3.RaceMenu

Now we can tell if the collar and cuffs match.

This wolfish whimsy is really meant to demonstrate SMP physical configuration and Racemenu hair coloring.

Rather than pretending that men and women suddenly started growing tails, think of it as the result of the furrier's craft; passive tails tied to a leash. Open to ladies only.

There are four to choose from. The tails are the same, but they have different texture paths so the colors don't conflict. Once Racemenu is installed, they will match the wearer's hair color.

In order to achieve this feat, you have to find data\SKSE\Plugins\ski64.ini and change the line uTintHairSlot=2050 to uTintHairSlot=3074

There are no pre-built nifs. For each of the four tails, you must select 3BA or BHUNP in BodySlide.

Build according to your usual presets.

They will collide with the ground while sneaking.

If you want them to bump the legs and hands, you have to build my integrated body as well.

Thanks to Fuse00 for the tail from her plush wolf mod. You'll recognize some of the great Nicetinaka thongs.

In this mod, the SMP bones are made by me, so there is no fake built-in rotation. I believe weight painting can be improved, but it is an art.

You can make them on a drying rack using obvious materials.

This module puts replacement primitives into your body glide list. The name starts with Integrated and you must build according to your choice of body, Integrated BHUNP or Integrated 3BA. This build simply contains a link to an SMP xml file called femalebody.xml. Those already using full SMP physics entities may consider adding shape declarations to existing xml files and remove the clutter of proxy shapes.

This step is optional, as you can choose not to bump the legs or hands.

If you're ready, you might consider extending the SMP collision principle to hair-realistic wig integration.

People who use my follower mods will notice (ha) that their body uses a simplified BHUNP with a custom 7B slider. These tail straps also incorporate sliders.

My other modules, use these principles:

Auri is Tauriel. She used her tail first.

Bear paw.

Female Housecarls.

Realistic wig integration and SPID distribution. SMP hair.

My mods, using a more general approach:

Realistic wigs and SPID distribution. SMP hair.

OGN nails and SPID distribution.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
