About this mod Machine translation
A hunting and fishing village on an island in the Ghost Sea.
Hunting and fishing village on Ghost Island.
Nords have always been known to be generous and tolerant of the cold, but that's rarely been the case in Skyrim. In addition, there are many meanings, many people spent a lot of time at sea hunting terrorists and fishing, but there is nothing reflected in it except a hut in the village of Skaal. This mod aims to change that by providing a complete solution dedicated to the tasks of hunting terrorists, fishing, and raising goats and beef. There are plenty of meat and fish options on the island, and now someone is doing it!
I also wanted to do something with the Skaal Village tiles and thought this would be a good opportunity to use it with some clothes. No, these Nords are not offshoots of Skaal, but they do share architecture and some common clothing.
Old schoolers (and I mean old) may recognize the mod's name as an old Commodore 64 game from Avalon Hill (circa 1983). This mod is a bit of an homage to the game that got me hooked on RPGs and the idea of modding them in the first place. The name of the village isn't the only Easter egg you can find :P
Features include:
- Customize your inn layout using Skaal Village buildings.
*NPCs have complete schedules.
*Military control changes depending on who controls Winterhold.
*All houses have Fallout missions enabled, so you can get companion missions and any other missions that are properly configured to use NPC homes for missions.
*LOD has been generated for the area.
Want to experience some real retro gaming? A PC remake of Telengard can be found here: http://buildingworlds.com/telengard/ Yes, I played it and it is a very faithful recreation of the original experience.
Installation requirements
Skyrim Special Edition 1.5.39 or higher.
Do not extract the contents of the BSA file into the Data folder as loose files, or have the mod manager perform an equivalent function on the file contents. Doing this will cause things to load in the wrong order and break the game. Skyrim is designed to load BSA as well as its ESM/ESP files. Bypassing this will cause issues that I won't provide support for. If you persist in opposing this suggestion, you will not be supported by the problems that will arise from it.
Installation - Wrye Bash BAIN
Drag and drop the archive into the Skyrim Special Edition Mods\Bash Installers folder and install as usual.
Make sure the mod is active in the Wrye Bash mods tab.
Installation - Mod Manager
Use the "Download with Manager" button on the Skyrim page. The installer should take care of things from there.
Then just make sure NMM has the mod activated.
Installation manual
Place Telengard.esp, Telengard.bsa and Telengard - Textures.bsa files into the Data folder.
Activate the mod using the management tool that works for you.
uninstall
Due to the nature of Skyrim mods, especially those that add scripts, it is strongly recommended not to attempt to uninstall mods from the active game. Any mod that is more than a pure mesh or texture replacement risks leaving permanent changes on your save that you may not want. This is not something modders can correct. This is how Bethesda designs its games. Support will not be provided for anyone who uninstalls this mod from the active game and continues on that save.
To remove the mod: Delete Telengard.esp, Telengard.bsa and Telengard - Textures.bsa from the Data folder. Then reload your game as usual.
Load order
LOOT should be used for optimal placement.
compatibility
No known issues, unless there's something in the area around "The Cold" (Winterhall Prison).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
