About this mod Machine translation
A simple, scriptless mod that allows players to view previously unseen weapon information/specs... "1H/2H/BOW", "SPEED", "REACH", "STAGGER" and "CRITICAL DAMAGE". These specs/stats will be displayed next to the weapon name. (Always *press this order*) ***Example -
This is my first mod, so bear with me while I learn... Basically what I'm doing here is methodically "renaming" every weapon in the game, including a list of 4 extra specs (along with "1H", "2H" or "BOW" description in brackets next to the original name. The display will always look like this... "[WEAPON NAME] (TYPE/SPEED/REACH/STAGGER/CRITICAL DAMAGE)", for example, the new "name" of the Iron Sword will be...
Iron Sword (1H / 1.00 / 1.00 / 0.75 / 3.00)
Being a stats geek, I've been searching long and hard for such a mod (that doesn't require any script extensions or extra menu tools, or general "messiness"), and haven't found anything similar, so, I decided to tackle this myself. After a few long sessions, I've finished 113 weapons so far, so I think I'm about 1% done, haha. But once I get obsessed with something, then... let's just say it might be done sooner than you think... but in the meantime, I thought I'd keep uploading in case anyone wants to check out what I've got so far and/or any thoughts, comments, or suggestions... You can quickly find an example of my work by finding any iron sword, iron dagger, steel sword, steel sword, ebony sword, ebony greatsword, or a hundred other random weapons I've made so far. This is very time consuming and meticulous work, and I'm carefully cross-referencing tweaks/tweaks from USSEP, skyrim update.esm, and other popular mods with corrective tweaks so as not to overwrite any improvements others have already made. Again, please bear with me and I hope this project will continue to move quickly until completion, But this is not a one-day project, to say the least. Also, I will try to focus on completing the "vanilla" (vanilla + DLC, AKA-Skyrim SE) weapons first, but this project will eventually include all weapons, at least all the weapons in my game, which includes mods such as, IMMERSIVE WEAPONS, T'SKYRIM TRUE WEAPONS, PRIVATE EYE HEAVY WEAPONS, LORE WEAPON EXPANSION, EXPANSION SKYRIM WEAPONS, STANDALONE09 WEAPONS... just to name a few... which begs an important question! I don't know if you need to have all these mods to make it work! (Or does it only apply to weapons you own, whether you own them or not?) I'm sorry, but as a beginner, I'm not sure, so please give me feedback and educate me! Other than that, good luck and hope you enjoy!
Oh, and loading orders! I believe this will be as close to the BOTTOM of your loadout order as possible to avoid the weapon "name" being overwritten by any other weapon related mods!
PS - For those interested in the details... In going through these weapons one by one, there are many examples of mods "competing" with their special "tweaks" for specs like critical hit damage, or even stealth detection, value, damage... you name it... so I'm calling for a combination of common sense, instinct, and the general habit of yielding to the preferences of the most trustworthy sources... namely USSEP and updates. esm...even reverts to skyrim.esm specs if another mod proposes an inexplicable tweak that seems impossible to adjust. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible in the game, other than to add extra information on the display. In fact, when it's all said and done, what you should really find is that this will "correct" a lot of the modifications made by other mods, who basically (unintentionally) overwrote USSEP's fixes and reverted to the original/buggy skyrim.esm specs... Besides my main purpose of showing the specs, I'm also re-correcting these overlooked bugs (another reason to put this at the bottom of your load order!)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
