Recently discovered scrolls shed new light on the Tale of Talamdani. Explore New Norse ruins filled with magic, puzzles and the undead to find an ancient enchanted weapon filled with fire, lightning and ice. This weapon has been famous for a long time and exists only in legends. Until now...

This is my first Skyrim mod. I wanted to learn the creation kit and do some fun things along the way.

After arriving at the city location, the courier will send a letter to start the quest. The dungeon is located in The Rift and will be marked on the map after reading the letter. It is possible to find the dungeon before finding the letter, which will also start the quest. The dungeon takes about an hour of gameplay when you kill all the thugs and loot everything.

Magic weapons can be upgraded with the Daedric Smithing and Arcane Smithing perks.

Currently only Skyrim Special Edition is supported. I'm not using the standard version of the authoring suite. It's unknown if this conflicts with other mods. I kept the external edits in a single cell and only added the entrance to the dungeon.

Let me know of any bugs or issues.

Known issues:

Dynamic Immersive Severe Dark Dungeon - SE with "Perform Fade on Dungeon Entrance" enabled, player controls will be disabled when fading out. It doesn't always re-enable the player controls correctly when done. If the player seems "stuck", re-enable the player controls by typing "EnablePlayerControls" in the console (~). Players should be able to move again. Alternatively, disable "Perform Fade on Dungeon Entrance" before scanning the dungeon.

Recently uncovered scrolls provide new clues into the Legend of Taram Dane. Explore a new Nordic ruin full of magic, puzzles and undead to find an ancient enchanted weapon imbued with the elements of Fire, Lightning and Frost. This weapon was lost to the ages and existed only in legend. Until now...

Known issues:

Dynamic Immersive Seriously Dark Dungeons - SE with Do Fadeout on Dungeon Entry enabled will disable the player controls when faded out. It does not always properly reenable player controls when done. If the player appears to be "stuck", reenable player controls by typing at the console (~) "EnablePlayerControls". The player should again be able to move. Alternatively, disable "Do Fadeout on Dungeon Entry" before scanning the dungeon.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
