About this mod Machine translation

This is a simple patch that adds "Realistic Needs and Diseases" effects to "Tamrielic Culture" consumables. Food will satisfy your hunger and drinks will quench your thirst (and make you quite intoxicated).

introduce:

Have you ever felt like traditional recipes from other provinces aren't as fleshed out as they are in Skyrim? Have you ever wondered why the famous Cyrodiil wine doesn't seem to have any alcohol? Well, travelers, a solution has now been devised! Now you can prepare for your journey by tasting some exquisite foreign recipes, or absolutely splurge on the best drinks from all nine provinces!

This patch adds realistic needs and disease effects to Tamrielic Culture. Everything in the "Drinks & Food" list on the Tamrielic Culture page now works with RND.

feature:

All foods satisfy your hunger. The soup also quenched a small amount of thirst.

All drinks quench your thirst, while alcohol makes you drunk.

3rd person drinking/eating animations are just like in the vanilla mod (RND is clever).

For the most part, food-to-food effects are based on RND and should adapt well.

Tamrielic Culture's original effects will not change.

Require:

Skyrim Special Edition

Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch (required due to real-world needs and disease).

USSEP’s Real Needs and Diseases All-in-one Machine

Known quirks:

Some alcohols in Tamrielic Culture increase certain statistics in the same way as potions. One example is a drink that increases the stealth skill. These drinks are alcoholic and have been labeled RND. This means that when you drink them, you'll be a little intoxicated and may trip or fall. This defeats the purpose of some drinks because if you sneak away, you might be spotted.

I was a bit silly and probably missed food or something. This has no impact on your game, it just means that the item will not have RND effects. If you tell me in the comments section I'll try to fix it at some point.

The bottles in Tamrielic Culture are shaped differently than the bottles in the vanilla game. If I added a "return empty bottle" effect, you would get a different bottle than the one you drink from. I found this really silly, so I didn't add this effect. It has a negligible impact on your game and I have no reason to change it.

Well, traveler, a solution has now been devised! Now you can prepare for a journey by sampling some exquisite foreign recipes, or get absolutely wasted on the finest drinks in all the nine provinces!

This patch adds Realistic Needs and Diseases effects to Tamrielic Culture. Everything in the "Drinks & Food" list on the Tamrielic Culture page should now be usable with RND.

Features:

All foods replenish your hunger. Soups also quench a small amount of thirst.

All drinks quench a some amount of thirst and alcohols make you drunk.

Third-person drinking/eating animations play just like in the original mod (RND is smart).

Effects for the food items are, for the most part, based off of RND's and should fit in nicely.

Original effects from Tamrielic Culture are not changed.

Known Quirks:

Some of the alcohols in Tamrielic Culture increase certain stats in the same way as a potion. An example would be the drinks that increase stealth skills. These drinks are alcohols, and have been flagged as such for RND. This means that when you drink them, you'll become somewhat intoxicated and may stumble or fall over. This defeats the purpo …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
