Reason for this mod:
_____________________
Do I really need a reason?
I have fun creating things. I have more fun using pieces from the game.
I also love LoTR, especially the weapons. Fantasy but practical.
Thanduil's Sword is one of the designs I could see an Elf King creating for himself.
I'm certainly no Elf King, but.....I could play in Skyrim if I wanted to. :)
I share because I want to. If it makes even one person smile, I smile with them too.

Some poor skeletons out there.
It can also be crafted with the Elven Master Blacksmith, and can be upgraded.

Final thoughts:

So I finally went broke and bought Skyrim SSE. I was hoping someone could convert my mod to SSE but no one stepped up
Do this. So I did. I'm honestly pretty happy with my modded Oldrim rig, but thought it would be worth $16 to share my creation
with SSE players. You're welcome, enjoy

Special thanks to NifScan, the makers of the SSE Nif Optimizer and I remember the folks at Oblivion tuning company Arthmoor. Thanks countless
Contributions to the modding community, especially tutorials for us modders, without which I wouldn't upload to SSE.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
