A quick note about the screenshots: the original version was very dark, it was supposed to be a darker house, but not that dark! So in my game, to reflect what the place looks like, I messed up some of the colors, but now they look a little "off", but, you still get it. Pictures, Photos

[Introduction]
[Left] Svellheim was my first SkyRIM mod. It was originally intended to be a small shack near the village of Skaal for my personal use, but over an embarrassingly long time, and several iterations due to hard drive crashes, it became more complicated. Today it is a medium-sized house on the hill above the village, with considerable character. Scroll down for more details and a full list, but, in a nutshell: Custom crafting and storage to mount everything from guardian artifacts to bug JARs and more. Sverheim also boasts one of the best views in the game, in my oh-so-humble opinion, as well as a fish tank! Well, that's the sales pitch, if you want to hear me ramble, keep reading, if you're a picture and feature person, there are pictures above and a pretty neat list at the bottom for you to peruse at your leisure. If you like my approach, or just my endless chatter, I'd love an endorsement or review from you, maybe a scotch.[/left]
[background]
I love the Morrowind and Bloodmoon expansions, especially Skaal Village, so I'd like to find a place of my own (new?) Thorsiim and I don't particularly like Sevrin Manor. There weren't many residential developments in the area at the time, so I started my own work. I tried to give it as much of a future theme as possible because I think it was built for Nerivalin after the events of Blood Moon, but you can come up with any backstory you want since there aren't any prerequisites to have it.
[feature]
Most of the crafting stations were customized to give it a unique look because I got tired of seeing the same alchemy and enchantment stations over and over again. Done! The balcony features a Dwemer-themed smelter, forge, grindstone and workbench, and tanning rack. There's also a chopping block ahead with a place for an axe. Inside there are alchemy, magic and staff magic stations, as well as ovens and cooking pots. You know... I'll make a list below.
One thing to note, everything is nailed! I hate having things flying around every time I trip and cough for no reason *drinking mostly because of drinking. So, anyway, I've made all the clutter static! This means you can chop and shout to your heart's content and things should generally stay in the right place. This also means you can't pick up decorations. I even removed their interactive tags so they are purely aesthetic and you don’t see “Wine,” “Mug,” or “Pick your thousandth mushroom!” when you’re doing your Hausen business. Yes, for all projects doing this this is a particularly long and tedious task, you are most welcome! Speaking of being crucified, I almost forgot.
[I almost forgot]
Lots of decor/clutter turned into custom storage! I'll list some of them below, but there are also some general containers for extra organization. In addition, all Daedric artifacts, claws, dragon masks, black books, paragons, and a few other items …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
