This is a small mod designed for stealth characters, using ENB's extremely dark interior or weather presets. Candles illuminate a small area in front of the player, allowing players to see items in front of them to steal and avoid using torches (which illuminate the entire room and increase the risk of detection)

This is a small mod designed for stealth characters, using ENB's extremely dark interior or weather presets. Candles illuminate a small area in front of the player, allowing the player to steal items in front of them and avoid using torches (which light up the entire room and increase the risk of being detected) Currently, there is only one variation of the candle, but I may consider adding more if there is enough demand. Also, the radius of the light on the candle is very small, but I will make a double radius version if needed. This mod is inspired by the lighters used in the Metro series.

Place

To the right behind the tavern sign is a small chest called a "candelabra" in a ragged flagon. The chests come in 10, and they'll last a long time, so you're unlikely to run out of them mid-game. In an emergency, you can type: help "small candle" in the console and then use additem to get more information. In a later version I can sell them to Tonilia.

Install/Uninstall

To install, simply use any mod manager of your choice. Manually, unzip the file and copy the data folder to the Skyrim directory, then make sure to activate the plugin. To uninstall, deactivate it in your manager. Manually, go to your data folder and delete mesh/weapons/holdcandle and HoldableCandleV1.0.esp.

Incompatibility

Nothing I know of at the moment, if anyone comes across anything let me know. The most likely scenario is a mod that modifies the ragged flag and covers up the chest. If this happens, I will move the chest to a more convenient position.
