Can play vanilla instruments found in the world.

This is an ultra-lightweight playable instrument module. Although playable instrument mods already exist, they often have creepy or bloated scripting functionality. This mod adds a small script to 3 instruments, allowing the player to play them using one of the randomly selected vanilla songs.

Activate the instrument from the inventory and it will start when the menu is closed.

feature:

-ESP files marked as ESL

-Lightweight. Edited 3 original records (3 instruments) and added new scripts

-Carry over the USSEP fix, but don't need it as a master file

Known issues:

• Sometimes glitches can occur if you have multiple identical instruments in your inventory
• If you have or have used mods to edit instrument records, you may run into issues

The script source has been imported. You can edit it to your liking if needed. This is a good proof of concept and good enough for release.

This is an ultra lightweight playable instrument mod.  Although there are existing playable instrument mods already, they often have feature creep or bloated scripts.  This mod adds a small script to the 3 instruments that causes the player to play them with one of the randomly selected vanilla songs.

Activate the instrument from the inventory and it will start when the menu is closed.

• ESP file flagged as ESL
• Lightweight.  3 vanilla records edited (the 3 instruments) and adds a new script
• Carries forward the USSEP fixes but does not require it as a master

Known Issues:

• Sometimes will glitch if you have multiples of the same instrument in your inventory
• May have issues if you have or have previously had a mod editing the instrument records

Script source inculded.  Feel free to edit to suit your own tastes if required.  This is a polished proof of concept that worked well enough for release.
