About this mod Machine translation

The ratio of all spells to their skills ranges from 1x (0 skills) to 3x (100 skills).

The mod adds a hidden perk for players which adds a multiplier to the size of all spells. In terms of basic skills, the magnitude is 1x (normal). At skill 100, the magnitude increases to 3x. To keep the mod as clean and simple as possible, I didn't change any spells. So some spells might not be *accurate* 3x, but they'll still be in that ballpark. example:

Flame: 8 -> 26

Heal: 10 -> 30

This is passive, unscripted and only adds 1 hidden perk. It does not require DLC or mods, but effects will be applied to custom spells, DLC, etc. It's as neat and clean as possible and affects all magic schools.

renew:

There are now two versions: one that only affects players, and one that affects everyone with their respective Novice Perk (Destroy Novice, etc.). There's no point in using multiple files, but nothing bad will happen either.

compatibility:

Should be compatible with almost anything.

Require:

No. Just vanilla Skyrim.

Thanks to coreypikes for pointing out a bug in the initial version and instructing me to convert it to SSE.

The mod adds a hidden perk to the player, which silently adds a multiplier to all spells' magnitudes. At base skill, the magnitude is 1x (normal). At 100 skill, the magnitude increases to 3x. In order to keep the mod as clean and simple as possible, I did not alter any spells. Therefore, some spells may not be *exactly* at 3x, but they will still be in that ballpark. Examples:

Flames: 8 -> 26

Healing: 10 -> 30

This is passive, script-free and only adds 1 hidden perk. It requires no DLCs or mods, but the effects will be applied to custom spells, DLCs, etc. It is as neat and clean as it could possibly be, and affects all schools of magic.

Update:

There are now two versions: One only affects the player and a second which affects everyone who has the respective Novice Perk (Destruction Novice, etc). There's no point using more than one file, but nothing bad would happen either.

Compatibility:

Should be compatible with just about anything.

Requirements:

None. Just vanilla Skyrim.

Thanks to coreypikes for pointing out a bug in the initial release and for poking me to get this converted for SSE.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
