Before installation
To ensure full compatibility with all mods and remain FPS friendly, this preset uses the original game post-processing FPS Hunger from ENBSeries. One problem with this issue is that the LDR white and black smashes from the Skyrim Special Edition engine are overwhelmed by this mod.
To fix this, open your skyrim.ini under C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition using a program like Notepad and add the line "fGlobalContrastBoost=-0.2" (without quotes) to the [Display] section
Although not required, this adjustment is recommended
Install
Go to ENBDev and download the latest binaries (News -> Downloads -> TES Skyrim SE -> Latest Binaries)
Use a program like Winrar or 7-Zip to unzip the binary and place just
d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e go into your Skyrim Special Edition directory from the "wrapper version".
Download Subtle Immersion ENB from the Files tab
Unzip the file and place the files in the Skyrim Special Edition directory
Incompatibility
Only not compatible with other ENB presets, should be fully compatible with everything else.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
