Have you ever been running around Skyrim with a beautiful landscape model and just thought "wow, those tree roots are scary"?
My friends at SkyRem Thought came and inspired me to create my first mini model to familiarize myself with CK and Nifskope.
This simply removes the hanging roots from the dirt cliffs for a cleaner look that's better suited to the various stunning landscape mods surrounding it.
This looks best when paired with DrPharmDawg’s Guide to the Amazing SkyRem
If you simply can't find anything you'd like to remove or change, please let me know in a PM or in a post here what a bad attempt to do.
compatibility:
As far as I know it will be compatible with all files without a custom path.
I'm certainly open to suggestions for Skyrim edits, I need to do something lol.
Install:
This is a simple mesh overlay, install and activate just like any other texture/mesh replacer in MO2!

Installation:
This is a simple Mesh Override, Install as you would any other texture/mesh replacer in MO2, Activate and Enjoy!
Uninstall
Delete from the left pane of MO2
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
