describe
When you cast a spell or scroll, a glowing circle immediately appears from your hand. They glow. Runes are automatically removed when sheathed, either sneaky or invisible.
NPCs can also cast runes. This feature can be disabled if desired.
There are over 30 different types of rune circles that will form depending on the spell being cast. It's also compatible with every spell mode by default, with additional support for Apocalypse, Lost Tome of Skyrim and Oblivion spells reworked. No patching required.
This has been tested with Magiska, Mystic Knight and Finally First Person Magic Animation mods. Magiska and Mystic Knight will require a patch that can be enabled in the MCM. Finally, first person magic animations are or are not compatible with this patch. Other animation mods may run the risk of some clipping.
Comes with 2K and 1K texture options.
CHANGELOG
v1.0 - initial version
notes
- Currently supports 75 NPCs.
- This mod works by checking for vanilla magic keywords, so universal runes will be cast for spell models that lack them.
- Ritual and ward spells will be added in future updates.
Install
Place it after you have any spell models.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
