Please read the instructions!
IMPORTANT NOTE: I created this mod for personal use and I'm hosting it in the community so I don't lose it. If you like the new warrior, feel free to download and play. The image does not exactly match the content of this mod! This mod simply adds five new essential Stormcloak warriors (non-followers) and vanilla gear to the Windhelm Barracks. Using Amazing Follower Tweaks SE I can make them followers and equip them however I want. So, I created these warriors to work with other mods:
Viking longhouse
Ulag's legacy
Ordinary weapons
Unique bow series
Yggdrasil Viking Sword
Valkyrja Viking Sword
My home is your home
Nordic fur armor
new! Battle Girls are mentioned in the game, but you don't see any of them. Until now... Version 1.1 brings Lagertha to heal you in battle!
You are completely free to follow the above steps to recreate the picture landscape or customize it your way. If you like these characters, please agree.
I came up with the idea, put the mod in a list, and created a bunch of npcs with Stormcloak behavior that could turn into followers.
Have a great game, thank you!
A brief history for everyone to immerse themselves in: Fighting against the Empire was not easy, many battles were ongoing and many sons and daughters of Skyrim gave their lives to liberate their homeland. To further hinder the war situation, Jarl Balgruuf joins the Empire and an attack on Whiterun must be carried out to secure the central position and completely change the conditions for the rebellion. Failure is not an option, and a failed attempt to capture Whiterun could mean the beginning of the end for Stormcloaks. Ulfric then decided to create an elite Stormcloak unit for the battle in Whiterun: The Vikings. "A new day is dawning, the sun rises over Whiterun." - Ulfric Stormcloak
Bjorn the Berserker - Bjorn was born different from his brothers, larger and stronger, and soon found his animal soul, the bear. His achievements as a warrior were recognized in the North and made him a companion, however, his aggressive behavior put him at odds with the group and he preferred to leave the guild to choose a side in the civil war. His brothers felled Ulfric before the ambush and his thirst for revenge only increased. He prefers to use a tomahawk.
Egil the Hunter - Egil was a great hunter who lived in Whiterun for most of his life, but had to leave after a conflict with the Battle-Born family and other Imperial supporters. He knew it was time to do something about Skyrim and Ulfric's affairs. Damn people mean how nords live their lives! The sons and daughters of Skyrim have embraced him with open arms, and now the empire will fall before his purpose! He prefers to use a bow and arrow.
Leif the Skald - Behind great warriors there are always great stories, and no one tells them better than the hero himself. Leif is a bard who craves adventure and has no desire to do anything but become a skilled adventurer. He prefers to use swords and knives.
Ragnar the Raider - Ragnar has always lived in Windhelm and is an excellent sailor and fisherman, but that's not all he does. Ragnar has always lived in battle and played the role of a bounty hunter, and lost his eyesight in many naval battles with pirates. Then the civil war started and he decided to join the rebellion and become a true son and daughter of Skyrim. He prefers to use war axes and shields.
Sigurd the Hersir - Sigurd has always been a respected warrior, he married and started working as a guard in the town of Windhelm. But that all changed one day when his wife was captured by the Thalmors simply because she worshiped Talos. Sigurd went to save him, but by the time he got there it was too late. Sigurd the destructive was almost captured, but he was the only one who managed to escape with his life. The scars on his face reminded him of the day he swore he would not let anyone else die in wor …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
