If you're like me and were disappointed with Vanilla Boar, then this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla boar skeleton with a new custom skeleton designed to make the Boars of Solstheim more realistic and immersive while still retaining all of their magical charm. Working within the confines of the vanilla mesh, I adjusted the head, neck and jaw areas. These subtle changes to Solstheim boars make them more like wild boars from Eurasia or North America. Every encounter on the island of Solsheim immerses you more in Skyrim's words!

[[[MOD COMPATIBILITY]]]

Bristleback Boars use a custom skeleton from Vanilla Boars, and will override any mods that change the skeleton of Vanilla Boars. Mods that make radical changes to the vanilla skeleton (such as "Realistic Ragdoll and Force") should be compatible as long as "Bristleback Boars" is installed after these mods and allows its files to be overwritten.

Should be fully compatible with any texture mod, as this mod does not contain its own skeleton-only textures. This also makes it compatible with most other creature models that don't edit vanilla skeletons.

[[[INSTALLATION]]]

It is recommended to use Mod Manager or your favorite mod manager.

Install "Bristleback Boars" after any mods that change Vanilla Boars, and click "Yes to all" when prompted to overwrite any files.

There is no ".esp plugin" for this mod.
