Steel Woodcutter's Ax

Improved Woodcutter's Ax: More damage, high-resolution mesh and textures, lighter, and can be upgraded to a steel weapon. Replaces all woodcutter axes in the game.

What would a rugged hunter be doing in Skyrim without a powerful ax to chop wood and the occasional face?

This mod replaces the lumberjack ax with a more detailed, higher resolution mesh and textures. .esp increases the ax's damage, reduces its weight, and allows it to be upgraded on the sharpening wheel using 1 steel ingot. Axes count as steel weapons for the Smithing perk. I didn't add more damage because I thought it was too powerful due to its high attack rate.

Mesh/textures and .esp files are independent of each other (you can use them or both at the same time).

Since this is a replacer, you need to tell NMM "yes to everyone" when asked if you want to overwrite a file or the game won't use this mod's meshes+textures. If this .esp is active, weight, damage and upgradeability changes will remain even with a different mod mesh+texture.
