About this mod Machine translation
Starborn offers a lightweight, killer approach to races and standing stones.
Starborn is my way of trying to improve my game and stand-up play in a lightweight, killer way. Staying consistent with older games has become a priority. The mod is divided into two modules (labeled ESL) so you can choose which changes you want to use.
Race
I've balanced race skills with "primary" and "minor" skills, simulating as closely as possible the skill bonuses the races received in earlier games, but adjusting where necessary. Race bonuses attempt to blend Skyrim races with races from previous games. With the exception of Khajiit's "Night Eyes", powers have been removed in favor of passive abilities.

standing stone
I tried to mimic the birth signs of the old game by changing my standing stones while keeping the feel of vanilla Skyrim. Most powers have been removed except Snake, which was unique and powerful allowing it to have 1 day of power. Starborn also adds a previously missing loading screen prompt for Lord Stone, which (as far as I know) no other mod has been able to do before.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
