About this mod Machine translation
All hair from KS Hairdos is now available for men.
Sweet lockdown!
Unisex KS Hairdos
Personally, I've always been a fan of long hair on men, and I don't think I'm the only one. This 'mod' simply edits the esp file from KS Hairdos Renewal to make all hair unisex. Just cover the original esp and presto, and your man can finally have the flowing locks you've always dreamed of. :) The original mod file is required.
But be warned, these hairs are not made for a male head or body, so some will never look good on a man just because some of his skull is clipped in - I've heard this can be adjusted via Racemenu's styling features - or the hair disappears on his chest or back. I find that male Altmer eyebrows are particularly painful to cut. That said, I was blown away by how awesome some of these men looked, which is why I decided to share. Seeing as there is a lot of hair in KS Hairdos, I haven't posted an image of a small selection of the hairs available, so feel free to add your own if you find something that looks great. :)
Now, while my poor rat hands have finished converting them into unisex, real credit naturally goes to the astonishingly talented Kalilies and Stealthic Khaos, without whom Skyrim would be a much less mythical place.

Luscious Locks For All!
Unisex KS Hairdos
Personally, I've always been a fan of long hair for guys, and I don't think I'm the only one. This 'mod' simply edits the esp file from KS Hairdos Renewal to make all the hairs unisex. Just overwrite the original esp and presto, your men can finally have the flowing locks you've always dreamed about.:) The original mod files are required.
Be warned though, these hairs were not made for the male head OR body, so there are a few that will never look good on a man simply for the fact that some of his skull clips through--I've heard this can be tweaked by Racemenu's sculpt feature--or the hair disappears into his chest or back. I've found that the browridge of male Altmer is a particular pain in the butt when it comes to clipping. That said, I'm shocked by how great some of these look on men, which is why I've decided to share. Seeing as there are literally HUNDREDS of hairs in KS Hairdos, I've not posted images of even a fraction of the hairs available, so if you find something that looks great on your guys, feel free to add your own images.:)
Now while my poor mouse hand did the work of switching them to unisex, the real credit naturally goes to the astoundingly talented Kalilies and Stealthic Khaos, without whom Skyrim would be a much less fabulous place.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
