Hello! Virde AKA Faylen Sol here with another of your mods really brought to you, special thanks to Stroti for creating the Spinning Wheel model I used in this mod. So I bet you're wondering what this mod does and boy oh boy will I show you!
Spinning Wheels and Cotton Wraps do the following:
Replaced linen packaging with cotton bales (Item ID has not changed. All stencils referencing linen packaging should still work.)
Added swivel wheels to all main cargo bays + Riverwood and Dragonbridge. I put them in plain sight.
Added recipe to make newly named Cotton Wraps (4 Tundra Cotton = 1 Cotton Wrap).
Reduce cotton wrap weight from any ridiculous amount to 0.5
Increase the value of Cotton Wraps to 15. This way you can pick cotton and craft Wraps in a non-destructive life.
So I bet you have some questions and I do have answers.
Questions and Answers
Q: Why cotton wrapping?
A: Well, linen is made from flax. Do you see any flax in the sky? Of course I don't. There is flax in ESO and Oblivion. That's not very immersive. But you know what Skyrim does have? cotton.
Q: Why don't you add Flax to the game?
Answer: Don't like it. This would be much easier for me and would make more sense without adding a whole new factory on top of the rest of the work I've done (and it's not that much work.)
Question: Who made the spinning wheel again?
A: That would be such a great Stroti. They have used various resources for mods, as long as you trust them and don't charge people for your mods.
Q: Who is Faylen Sol?
A: This is my normal online processing. Wilder is my dead online name. I'm best known for being Overthy's Filthy Lucio One Trick and making Boop Montage videos.
Q: Have you done any other mods before?
A: Yes! one. Craftable Dragon Priest Masks. That mod lets you turn the Light Armor priest's mask into heavy armor and secondary equipment. Or leave them without armor. Or make them invisible.
Q: Would you consider making a UNP or CBBE version of this mod?
Answer: Already!
Q: Can I make a translated version or make a mod that uses this mod?
Answer: Absolutely. As long as you follow Strotis' rules of not making money. But I'd love to see an armor model that adds its own cloth like silk and a way to get ingredients, but uses wheels to craft it just to stand out. Go for it! take risks
Q: Where is the exact location of the rotating wheel?
A: Everyone is in a convenient location, close to the central "Craft Center", or in a reasonable location. Sometimes they'll be outside a clothing store (like Radiant Raiment) or outside a character's home. In Morthol's case, it was one of the few things that survived after the house burned down.
Whiterun - A war maiden built next to a smelter and forge
Windhelm - near the market area with tables nearby (other places are too crowded)
Winterhold - On the "porch" of one of the ruined houses.
Morthal - On the porch of the burned house
Markarth - Tanning rack near the blacksmith shop
Falkreath - Next to the Forge
Riften - Market next to Grelka stall
Loneliness - the radiant cloak
Riverwood – Riverwood Hotel’s balcony
Dragon Bridge - On the porch of one of the npc's houses (I forgot which one)
I didn't put one on Dawnstar. I just realized I forgot Dawnstar existed. I will add one in an upcoming update. > _>

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
