bool function SetSpellName(Spell akSpell, String name) global native; getter
float function GetSpellNthMagicEffectCost(Spell akSpell, int index) global native
Int function GetSpellType(Spell akSpell) global native; returns the type of spell. IE spells, abilities, minor powers, etc; 0 = spell, 1 = disease, 2 = strength, 3 = lesser power, 4 = ability; 5 = poison, 6 = additive, 7 = sound (yelling?)
Int function GetSpellCastType(Spell akSpell) global native; returns cast type, IE concentration, misfire, etc; 1 = oblivious, 2 = focused, 0 = sustained impact
Int function GetSpellCastTime(Spell akSpell) global native
Perk function GetSpellPerk(Spell akSpell) global native; Int function GetSpellDelivery(Spell akSpell) global native // not implemented; fancy function lol; attach new MagicEffect to spell
bool function SpellAddEffect(Spell akSpell, MagicEffect akEffect, float, int duration, int area, float cost) global local; basically replaces spellA with a copy of spellB
bool function CopySpell(Spell spellA, Spell spellB) global native; removes all spells of an actor and if {removeBase} is true, removes the actor's base (does not work as expected)
bool function RemoveAllActorSpells(Actor akActor, bool removeBase = false) global native; returns an array of all spells of an actor, including their bases; you can specify a specific magic school, or leave all spells for {akSchool} blank; you can also specify the spell type (see above)
Spell function GetAllActorSpells(Actor akActor, String akSchool = "", int type = 0) Global native; This function allows you to filter duplicates and specific spells from an array; returns an array with no duplicate named spells, nor any spells with names specified in {tags}
Spell function FilterSpellArray(Spell spell, String tag) global native; interesting feature, it replaces the {base} spell with a new spell that combines all the effects of {spells}
bool function CombineSpells(base spell, Spell spell, string name) global native
Check SpellCraft.psc and Github for more information.
example
The following Papyrus fragment creates a spell effect that adds all spells of the target actor to the caster:
EventOnEffectStart(actorAkTarget,actorakCaster)
Spell stolen_spells = SpellCraft.GetAllActorSpells(AkTarget,“”)
integer i = 0
And I<stolen_spells.Length
akCaster.AddSpell(stolen_spells [i])
i+=1
at the end
end event
notes
Not an actual mod! Just a resource for modders. Think of it as an extension to skse.
It has also not been tested extensively, so please file an issue if you find any bugs.
Feel free to use and package your mods, just trust me.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
