Weapon speed effect fixes:
describe:
If both are active at the same time, the effect affecting the weapon's speed is changed. The weapons they give you are much faster than expected.
For example, if Wrath of the Elements (First Word) and Double Flurry Level 2 are active at the same time, your weapon speed is +185% instead of +85%.
This mod solves this problem.
The following spells/extras modify your weapon speed:
Perk:Quickshot
Perk: Dual Flurry Levels 1 and 2
Shout: Wrath of the Elements
Shout: Battle Fury
Wrong technical explanation:
Weapon speed is determined by two actor values: WeaponSpeedMult and LeftWeaponSpeedMult. When equal to 1.0 or 0.0, the speed is normal (100%), when the speed between 1.0 and 0.0 speed is slower (0.5 = 50% speed), when the speed is above 1.0, the speed is higher (1.5 = 150%).
By default, these actor values are set to 0.0. Therefore, the effect of increasing weapon speed increases by a value greater than 1.0. For example, Quickshot is increased by 1.30 and weapon speed is increased by +30% (as expected). But when Wrath of the Elements is also active (let's say the first word, so +50% speed intention), it increases the cast value by 1.5, and the total becomes 2.8 (1.3 + 1.5). Weapon speed is now 280% instead of the expected 180% (100% + 50% + 30%).
Requirements and (un)installation:
You need Skyrim Special Edition V1.5.39 or higher.
You need to install the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.
Install as usual. Install using your favorite mod manager or manually in the data folder.
Uninstalling on saved games is not recommended. If you do this, use the console commands to set the player base actor values WeaponSpeedMult and LeftWeaponSpeedMult to 0.0 after you remove my mod ("player.setav weaponpeedmult 0.0", "player.setav leftweaponspeedmult 0.0").
Compatibility and load order:
This version compiles the Elemental Fury, Quickshot and Dual Flurry Spell and Magic Effect records.
Mods that do not modify these records are compatible, these mods need to resolve conflicts with SSEEdit.
I will not provide patches for this mod.

Weapon Speed Effects Fix:
Description:
Effects that change your weapon speed are bugged if two are active at the same time. They give you a weapon speed much higher than intended.
For example, if both Elemental Fury (first word) and Dual Flurry Rank 2 are active at the same time, your weapon speed is +185% instead of +85%.
This mod fixes that.
The following spells/perks modify your weapon speed:
Perk: Quickshot
Perk: Dual Flurry Rank 1 and 2
Shout: Elemental Fury
Shout: Battle Fury
Technical explanation of the bug:
Weapon speed is dictated by two actor values: WeaponSpeedMult and LeftWeaponSpeedMult. When equal to 1.0 or 0.0, speed is normal (100%), when between 1.0 and 0.0 speed is slowed down (0.5 = 50% speed), when above 1.0, speed is higher (1.5 = 150%).
By default, those actor values are set to 0.0. Because of this, effec …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
