Special Edition Silver Crossbow Bolt

Added Silver Crossbow Bolts to Skyrim, which you can buy and craft.

describe:

This mod adds silver crossbow bolts to Skyrim! You can buy it at General Goods Stores and Blacksmiths. These bolts are stronger than steel bolts and weaker than dwarf bolts (base damage), but they are effective against undead. Bonus damage is the recently released 36 points.

What makes this mod different from other Silver Bolt mods?

First: This mod is a standalone mod, which means you can only get Silver Crossbow Bolts.

Second: This mod is highly compatible with most mods (if you find compatibility issues, please tell me immediately).

Third: I worked hard to make my bolts look more than just gray and white. The bolt has red feathers instead of white, making the bolt more attractive.

Note: Be sure to reassemble the silver bolts each time you download an update. Otherwise, its base damage of 12 will not apply to the crossbow.

Warning: After updating to version 1.03, I strongly recommend you clean save as some FormIDs no longer exist.

Crafting: You need a silver ingot and firewood for 10 bolts. No Smith privilege required.

Compatibility issues:

The mod is now standalone. It should have no compatibility issues unless you are using version 1.02.1 or lower.

Recommended Mods:

• Handy Crossbows, it has no compatibility issues that I'm aware of. This allows you to get a crossbow instantly, since my Silver Bolt is available even if you don't get the crossbow from Dawnguard.
• If you want to be sneaky, get the Crossbow Sneak Attack Sound Remover. It eliminates the loud sound (not the firing sound) of the crossbow for sneak attacks.

How to install manual download:

• Just unzip everything into your Skyrim/Data folder.

How to uninstall using manual download:

• Delete "silverbolts.esp" from the Data folder.
• From your Data folder, go to: textures/dlc01/weapons/crossbow and delete "silverbolt.dds", "silverbolt_n.dds" and "silverbolt_m.dds"
• From your Data folder, go to: meshes/dlc01/weapon/crossbow and delete "silverbolt.nif" and "silverboltprojectile.nif"

Install/uninstall using NMM:

• This simple mod only requires you to install it like other mods. Activate it and it will be in your game. To uninstall, simply use the de-activate mod option and (if necessary) click the X to remove it.

Future update plans:

• May cause silver bolts to stick to walls and other objects.
